A Virtual Journey Around the World: Week 3

Our adventure continues as we journey across the world, visiting one UNESCO World Heritage Site in every country. Highlights during our third week of virtual travel include the stunning and isolated Sceilg Mhichil monastery in the Irish Sea, made famous by Star Wars. Contrasted with the tranquil expanse of Lake Malawi National Park where a unique story of evolution is found in its depths.

During our travels we are acknowledging the global fight against Covid-19. As of today, the total number of confirmed cases in the 24 countries visited is 280,135 (UN World Health Organisation). Every country has reported cases and at least 1 death. 10,771 people are known to have died in these countries to date, although even a brief review of the statistics suggests real numbers are distorted due to differential access to testing.
