Use the links below to discover our new Isle of Wight Heritage Biosphere Learning Menu – a feast of creative inspiration for the classroom that inspires young learners to explore the rich heritage of this stunning Island. Great as an introduction to the Island for local and mainland schools.
Or focus in on a particular period or theme in the Island’s history to discover stories connecting young learners with specific subjects in the History curriculum at Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.

The Isle of Wight Museums and Schools partnership is funded by Arts Council England and the Department of Education. It is part of the Isle of Wight’s Cultural Education Partnership, and consists of seven great museums on our wonderful Island: Brading Roman Villa, Carisbrooke Castle Museum, Classic Boat Museum, Dimbola Lodge Museum and Gallery, Museum of Island History, Newport Roman Villa and the Shipwreck Centre.
