Rowden Hall: a Place of Refuge



Mr Dan Thompson recently prompted Margate to remember that 80 years ago, the Kindertransport brought Jewish children to Margate. 60 at a time stayed at Rowden Hall Hotel, more in guesthouses and with local families. 



Dan’s request has prompted us to add this important story to The Earth Museum (and the Margate Heritage Trail too).
