World Heritage Sites Explorer Learning Resource

To mark World Heritage Day 2020 we have created this learning resource for students to follow us on our virtual journey over the next weeks and months. Explore the World’s rich cultural and natural heritage, and find out how the global enemy, Covid-19, is affecting all humanity.

World Heritage Day is celebrated on 18th April every year. In 2020 it’s theme of shared cultures, shared heritage and shared responsibility takes on an even stronger resonance under the shadow of the current pandemic.

Here at The Earth Museum we are adding a short story every day about a World Heritage Site from every country around the world; and providing a link to the work of the World Health Organisation recording the impact daily of Covid-19 on people living across our planet.

We have added this resource to our Learning Resources page on the website, available free to use by teachers, parents and students. Or just follow the link on this page.

NB This resource requires the latest versions of most common desktop browsers, and works best with Chrome and Firefox. It also supports most common current iOS and Android mobile devices.

Through this website you are able to link to other websites which are not under the control of The Earth Museum. We have no control over the nature, content and availability of those sites. The inclusion of any links does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorse the views expressed within them.
