Community Heritage at Risk in Zimbabwe

Another wonderful year of working with placement students from the University of Winchester in 2025. We learn so much ourselves from their skills and insights, and we offer unique placements that develop their experience of digital heritage storytelling in a flexible and dynamic way.

Chevening Scholar, Taurai Mudzudza has been working with us over the last 5 months to create a digital heritage map highlighting the plight of community heritage sites at risk in his home country of Zimbabwe. He is a highly experienced teacher and heritage professional currently studying for a Masters in Cultural Heritage and Archaeological Resource Management. Taurai is passionate about the preservation of special places of community heritage, a subject close to our heart too.
